2020年。
悪魔が世界に放った矢。
ウイルスという矢が人類の文化を破壊している。
家族の絆を
信仰の神を
音楽を、スポーツを、経済を。
破壊している。
友好の証、握手、ハグ、キスをさせない
大好きなおばあちゃんやおじいちゃんを奪っていく
オンライン以外のコミュニケーションができなくなる
人と人が対面できないと、現代社会はこんなにも無力になってしまうのか。
もう一度言う
これは人類の文化への挑戦なのだ
いまこそ
私たちは希望のある言葉を言わなければばらない
希望とはなにか？
希望とは完全なる勝利ではない。
希望とはポジティブな響きを持つ言葉だけれども
それが生まれる時、その人はどん底にいる。
だから、希望を持ちたいと切実に願う。
希望という言葉を使うときは、一番辛いとき。
大切な人を無くすかもしれない、とき、
病気が治りますようにと
人が祈る時。
そういう時に希望が生まれる。
世界が問われている今
色々な世界の言葉で希望の言葉をあげていく。

中国語
アラビア語
ポルトガル語…
それらの希望の言葉を漢字にしていく。
祈りの言葉を書いていく。
大事な言葉を書にして命を吹き込む。
今のような時だから
自分自信を鼓舞する言葉
あなたの愛する誰かに送る希望の言葉
家族で乗り切る為の希望の言葉….

私にとっての希望の言葉は
地球上の皆がONE TEAMとなる時
その日本語として
「一心」
を選びました。
今世界で起きている現状に怒りや悲しみ、無力さに…
亡くなっていった方々の命を無駄にはできない
しかし、希望をもって描かずにいられない
そう思い、つくったものです。

I would like to ask you all, to share your “words of hope”.

I will draw your hope and prayer from all over the world.
My hope is to unite, that every one of us on earth becomes ONE TEAM.
I chose “一心” as the Japanese word to describe this.
Feeling deep sorrow, pain, anger, helpless to what is striking the world now, and to the people who are sick or have died, I drew this with all my hope and prayers.

The evil virus has ravaged the world, changing lives of millions and devastating
human culture, family bonds, faith in god, music, sports, economics, and everything.
Handshakes, hugs, kisses, have become weapons, taking away many lives of grandmas and grandpas, and only allowing digital communication using emails or social media.
Without direct interaction, why is the modern society so helpless?
I will repeat this once again.
This is a challenge to the human culture, and now is the time to deliver hopeful words.
What is hope?
It doesn’t mean to win a complete victory. Hope is a word that sounds positive, but when we do hope, we are usually in a rock-bottom situation.
That is why we zeal for hope.
We might lose our loved ones.
Let us pray for people all over the world for their recovery, for those who are inflicted and in pain. We must hold strong hope.
The world is facing an unprecedented crisis, and so I would like to deliver the “words of hope” from all over the world.
English, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, and more.
I will translate your “words of hope” into Japanese kanji, and draw Japanese calligraphy to give spirit to all your prayers.
